The Process

01

Artwork prep

Artwork must be vector-based. Each colour is a separate spot layer. Fine details and thin strokes print beautifully with letterpress.
02

Plate making

A photopolymer plate is exposed from your artwork. The plate holds the raised relief image that will press into the stock.
03

Impression

Each sheet is fed through the press and the plate pushes into the paper, creating the characteristic deep debossed impression unique to letterpress.
04

Finishing

Sheets dry, are trimmed, and optionally combined with other finishes like foil stamping or edge painting for a premium result.
