§ 01 — How it works

The Process

01

Artwork & spec

We review your artwork, size, orientation, and hole position. Swing tags can be portrait, landscape, or square — with a standard 4mm hole punched to spec.

Plate or die making

Letterpress and foil jobs require a photopolymer plate or metal die. This is a one-time cost — re-runs use the same tooling at reduced cost.
03

Print

Tags are printed flat on sheet, then guillotined or die-cut to shape. Multiple finishes can be combined on the same tag — letterpress base with foil highlights.
04

Punch & pack

Holes are punched and tags counted into packs. We can supply with jute twine or cotton string attached — or plain for your own assembly.

Specs & Setup

Common sizes 55 × 90mm, 65 × 100mm, A6 (105 × 148mm). Custom sizes welcome.
Hole position 4mm hole, centred, 8mm from top edge (standard). Custom placement on request.
File format Vector PDF for letterpress/foil. PDF/X-4 CMYK for digital. 3mm bleed all sides.
Letterpress stock 350–600gsm cotton or uncoated board. Kraft available.
Digital stock 300–400gsm coated or uncoated. Kraft and coloured stock options.
Finishes Letterpress, foil stamping, risograph, digital, spot UV, edge painting
Extras Jute or cotton string, wax seal, belly band — ask us
Min quantity Letterpress/foil: 100 units. Digital: 50 units.
